G.P.STAMP

A Sustainable Tracking System That is Extremely Accurate While Saving Human Resources

GPStamp is a slim, stamp-sized mail/parcel-tracking “paper” chip that incorporates GPS and printed electronics technologies. It is attached to mail or parcels to provide reliable tracking items in transportation.

Have you ever worried about whether a letter you sent was received or not? G.P.Stamp makes it possible to know where your letters or parcels are in real time when they are in transit. With G.P.Stamp, their exact locations and status can be checked via a GPS signal.

G.P.Stamp presents a way to simplify and speed up the process of shipment tracking. When attached to a letter or parcel, G.P.Stamp will automatically load the location information throughout the transportation – from origin to destination. Users can obtain information including transportation distances, the route taken, and so on. All critical location information is sent wirelessly in real time for the user to view, and the accuracy is high.

G.P.Stamp is about the size of a regular stamp. Through the use of advanced printed electronics, the size can be kept small. On one side of G.P.Stamp is a layer of flexible 0.2-millimetre-thick GPS circuits. On the other side is a flexible 0.4-millimetre-thick battery cell. There are different types of G.P.Stamp: 5-day, 8-day, or 12-day. The length of time reflects the battery life, and the appropriate type can be selected according to the country that the letter/parcel will be delivered to. The circle in the middle of G.P.Stamp is a thin-film battery cell. Users can identify the battery life from the size of the circle. The larger the circle, the longer the life of the battery.

With G.P.Stamp, the status of letters and parcels can be automatically and continuously uploaded, the working process can be sped up, and users would be able to fully understand the shipping status at any given time. Also, receivers can more accurately estimate the arrival time and don’t have to sit at home all day waiting for the arrival of the letter or parcel.
